Join Our Community Conversation Series!

Community building is more important than ever at Greenwood. Our goal this year is to keep parents connected with the Greenwood community through our new Community Conversation series!

Because parents cannot visit the school this year, we want to bring the school to our parents. Our Community Conversations series will introduce Greenwood parents to different aspects of our school community and offer resources and suggestions; these sessions will also provide space for parents to share questions and comments and discuss big ideas.

Our first session will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at 1 p.m. Joining us in this session is Hannah Dawson, Greenwood's school nurse. You will learn more about Hannah, her role at Greenwood and the health and safety practices in place at the school. A link to join this webinar will be sent to you next week.

Save the date for our second session on Wednesday, November 4 at 1 p.m. with Kathryn Connelly, Director, Student Well-Being.

We need your input on future Community Conversation topics! Fill out this short survey to tell us what you would like to learn more about.

We hope you enjoy these sessions and we look forward to staying connected with you throughout the school year!

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and as settlers, we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
