Halloweek at Greenwood

Halloweek had fun activities both at school and at home for students to participate in. At school, students participated in Minute To Win It competitions, the Great Halloween Hunt, Witch Broom Pumpkin Race, the Which Witch is Which? guessing contest, and pumpkin carving. At home, students were encouraged to submit a spooky short story and show off their pet costumes or their home decorations. It was a week filled with fun to get students excited for Halloween!

On October 31, we held our annual Halloween Costume Contest. A winner was selected from all eight Houses in each of our costume categories: Best Character, Most Creative, Greenest at Greenwood and Best Group. Our panel of judges then selected the top three costumes in each category, with each of those top three finishers receiving House points.

Winners for Most Creative Costumes are:

Oliver Tannenbaum '26 dressed as BeReal app for Thompson House.
Camden Barnikis '27 dressed as Lub's Tim Horton's Order for Churchill House.
Violet Bryce '24 dressed as The Night Sky for Wernham House.

Winners for Best Character Costumes are:

Bayla Appleby '23 dressed as Vector (from Minions) for Churchill House.
Cameron Barry '25 dressed as Top Gun for Wernham House.
Claire Sparling '26 dressed as Venti from Genshin Impact for Latimer House.

Winners for Greenest @ Greenwood Costumes are:

Tea Stoute '26 dressed as a Ghostbuster for Fraser House.
Sam Robertson '28 dressed as a Rubik's Cube for Churchill House.
Luke Cardinal '27 dressed as Lamplighter from One Shot for Latimer House.

Winners for Best Duo/Trio/Group Costumes are:

Lady Bugs with students from Fraser, Nahanni and Yukon Houses.
Step Brothers with students from Thompson and Wernham Houses.
Shrek and Puss in Boots with students from Thompson and Latimer Houses.
