FEE INFORMATION FOR 2024-2025

Tuition Fee: $44,920
Initial Enrolment Fee: $9,000 (one-time non-refundable payment in addition to tuition fee; siblings of current and past Greenwood students receive a $3,000 deduction on this fee).
When comparing independent school tuitions, it is important to consider what is and is not included in your fees. Unlike many schools, Greenwood’s tuition fees cover:

  • Outdoor education (with the exception of international travel or optional experiences)
  • Student Success Centre resources
  • Local field trips
  • Team entry fees and transportation for local, same-day extracurriculars (e.g. athletics and arts) and field trips
  • Service learning initiatives
We strive to keep additional charges to a minimum. Exceptional instructional materials, overnight trips (other than the outdoor education program), textbooks, uniforms and optional charges such as Café and School Store purchases are not included in the tuition fee and will be billed accordingly.

  • Financial Assistance

Greenwood offers limited financial assistance to a small number of families, both current and incoming. We are hopeful that in the years to come, philanthropic support of our endowed funds will continue and the available funds will increase.

This program is made possible by the Greenwood College School Foundation. The Foundation was created in 2003 to oversee endowment funds established through philanthropic support of the school.

Families wishing to apply for financial assistance must complete the Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) application through Apple Financial Services, a third-party financial aid service. Apple Financial will conduct a means test to recommend to the school the amount of financial assistance needed by the applicant.

Financial assistance applications for the 2025-2026 school year will close on December 1, 2024. Applicants awarded financial assistance will be notified on or immediately following the admission offer date. All applications for financial assistance are reviewed and evaluated independently from admission applications.

For more information about student financial assistance, please contact Kelly Giannoccaro, Vice-Principal, Finance & Operations.
  • Fee Policies

Notice is required in writing to the Principal in the event a student withdraws after enrolment. The reason for withdrawal has no effect upon any fee payable. If written notice of withdrawal is received:

    On or before July 1
    • $14,920 is payable to the school through the forfeiture of the first fee instalment.
    After July 1
    • 100% of the annual tuition fee is payable to the school.
  • Computer Equipment

A laptop device that meets or exceeds our hardware requirements is required for all students. Students may purchase a computer through our third-party supplier or participate in the "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) program. Please refer to our comparison chart to determine which program better suits your child's needs.

The cost of the school-selected laptop is approximately $2,800 for 2024-2025; this premium cost includes:
    • all necessary software;
    • a three-year accidental damage plan; and
    • access to a loaner laptop pool should your child's device need repairs.
It is expected that when properly maintained, the school-selected laptop will meet Greenwood’s computer requirements for three years.

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
