Life at Greenwood

Our Extended Campus

Our urban campus is closely connected with the broader Toronto community - and beyond.
Greenwood students connect with communities both within and beyond our walls. Throughout the school year, they connect with many organizations and locations throughout the city, whether they're creating connections with younger students in Regent Park or honing their soccer skills at Cherry Beach. In September and January, life at Greenwood takes students to camps across Ontario (and in the case of our Grade 11 students, to one of several stunning locations in British Columbia).

Check out the interactive map below to visualize these locations for yourself, and to learn more about the programs and experiences connected with them.
“The Grade 11 sea kayaking trip was one of my favorite experiences with Greenwood. I will never forget kayaking through the ocean in the sun as a massive whale swam past us, leaving everyone with huge smiles for the rest of the trip.”

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and as settlers, we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
