Our community’s generosity is what allows Greenwood to think differently about education. Your support ensures we can continuously adapt, innovate, and provide an unparalleled experience where every student is both challenged and supported.

Leadership donors, making investments of $25,000 or more, provide the momentum needed to realize our most ambitious ideas. From creating collaborative learning spaces to expanding endowed financial assistance and enriching our signature outdoor education programs, these gifts enhance our campus, broaden access, and redefine what’s possible for our students.

When we come together to support these priorities, we do more than build resources; we cultivate a culture of ambition and character, empowering every student to venture further.

Major gifts can be made as a single contribution or pledged over three to five years to align with your personal financial planning. We are happy to work with you to structure a gift that best suits your family and the school.

The Greenwood Circle is our annual leadership giving society that honours our donors making a donation of $2,000 and more to the school within our fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). The Circle’s recognition levels are named for Canada’s great parks, in recognition of Greenwood’s commitment to the outdoors and the environment. Donors are recognized at the following levels:

Banff Society $25K+ 

Nahanni Society $10K+

Algonquin Society $5K+

Terra Nova Society $3.5K

Bruce Peninsula Society $2K+

Cumulative Giving: The Wernham-West Society
Named in honour of Greenwood's first founding family, The Wernham-West Society recognizes Greenwood community members who have made cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more to the school. Some of these donors have been involved with the school since it began; others are new to the school community. Each name is represented on the beautiful Wernham-West Society wall, which has pride of place at the front of the school on the main floor.
