Boys’ Basketball
The U14 Boys will finish third in their division and will play St. John’s Kilmarnock for a chance to move on to the Final Four tournament on Saturday, March 4 at TMS School. Our U16 team is positioned to finish in either second or third spot with several games left to go in the division. If they claim second, they’ll automatically advance to the Final Four tournament on March 4 at Toronto French School; if third, they’ll play the sixth-place finisher for a chance to move to the semi-finals.
The U20 Boys have secured first place in their division, along with home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.They’ll play Royal St. George’s College on Wednesday, March 1 for a chance to host the final the following Saturday.

Girls’ Volleyball
Our U16 Girls will finish second in their division and automatically advance to the Final Four tournament at Bayview Glen on March 4. The U20 team will finish in the top six and advance to the quarter-finals, but with several games left to play in the division their exact finishing spot is still to be determined. The U14 Girls will not advance to the playoffs.

Boys’ Hockey
The U20 team will finish in second or third place in their division (placing will be determined by tomorrow’s game against Crestwood Preparatory College). Should they win on Thursday, they’ll advance directly to the Final Four tournament on Friday, March 3. A loss, depending on other league results, may see them playing the sixth-place finisher for a chance to advance to the semi-finals. The U14 Boys will not advance to the playoffs.

Our Girls’ Hockey team is an exhibition team this year; as such, there are no playoffs.

Alpine Skiing
The alpine skiing season wrapped up last Wednesday, February 15. Greenwood skiers had a great season, with our Open (Grade 9-12) Male team placing 2nd overall in the league and our Open Females placing third overall.
The following skiers also finished in the top five in the individual standings in their respective leagues.

Snowboarding
Giant Slalom/Slope Style
CISAA championships for these two disciplines took place on Wednesday, February 8 and Greenwood boarders earned several medals. In Giant Slalom, Hannah Hutzul (‘22) and Ben Laco (‘21) both took gold in the U14 division, while Jack Ciotlos (‘19) captured silver in U16. Nicole Clyde (‘18) and Charlotte Keating (‘19) went 1-2 in the L2 division.
Jack Ciotlos found the podium again in the Slope Style competition with another silver-medal finish.
Based on their strong overall seasons, our Boys’ Snowboarding team, along with Nicole Clyde and Charlotte Keating, also qualified to represent Greenwood at the OFSAA Snowboarding Festival on March 2.
Boarder Cross
The CISAA Championships for Boarder Cross take place today, February 22 at Craigleith Ski Club. Stay tuned for news and results!
