A message from the Yearbook and Photography Committee

Hi Greenwood! I’m Andrew Wilkins '25, a member of the Yearbook and Photography Committee.

Creating a yearbook takes dedication, organization, and collaboration in a team of like-minded students. Without these three key ingredients, the task is impossible.

I initially signed up for the Yearbook and Photography Committee on a whim, thinking it could be a fun and interesting way to put my Media Arts skills to good use. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed coming in once a week to spend time editing photos and formatting pages with the goal of creating a memorable story for the whole school’s enjoyment.

This year is a really special one for the Yearbook Committee, as we will be introducing a new format for publication that will allow all students to receive their yearbooks in time to have their friends and teachers write messages in them at the end of the school year.

You can now order a 2024-25 Greenwood College School Yearbook using this link, which can also be found in Week at a Glance. The ordering deadline is March 7th and I hope everyone can order one so that we can take part in this old, but new, Greenwood tradition together!

Sincerely,
Andrew Wilkins '26 along with all the Yearbook and Photography Committee executives:

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
