When I opened Post City magazine over the winter break, I was filled with great pride. There, in bold, unmistakable Greenwood green, was our new advertisement: GREENWOOD IS.
The series of ads feature our students, looking straight to the camera with confidence, standing atop a big, bold “Greenwood” laying the visual foundation for the future. Carefully chosen words below outline what Greenwood Is.
Are you ready for the challenge?
Embarking on a marketing campaign can be no easy feat. It takes time, planning, and careful consideration. We underwent a brand distillation exercise with our agency where we invited staff, parents, alumni and board members to really explore and articulate just what makes Greenwood great.
Are you prepared to be daring?
Greenwood Is: personalized, warm, welcoming, an amazing community. It’s Outdoor Education. It’s the Arts. It’s Athletics. It’s character development. It’s thinking outside the box. It’s the ideal combination of challenge and support. It’s so much more, and what “Greenwood is” is very personal to each member of the Greenwood community. Greenwood students are complex and unique. They are Poised. Eager. Ready for the challenge. And they are daring, each in their own way.
Are you poised for the future?
The question / answer format in the ad series exemplifies Greenwood’s approach to education. It shows what we are trying to do here – develop students who are curious and have a growth mindset.
