Concert Violinist Mayumi Seiler Visits Greenwood
Mayumi Seiler, a professional violinist, came to our school on April 4. She performed a duet with Ms. Lafleur called "Meditation" by Massenet. It was very cool to have our own private concert with a professional violinist.
Afterwards she taught us about her life and how she started playing and performing the violin at a very young age and about her life as a professional violinist. She taught us about some techniques musical performers use for timing or what happens when there is a mistake or how to deal with being nervous for your performance. We hope we will be able to host her again.
