Living Like Pioneers at Black Creek Pioneer Village

On this historical field trip, students received a tour of the facility and had a chance to "live like pioneers" by performing tasks reflective of the time period such as churning butter, making candles, using a cross cut saw, using a loom and using a spinning wheel. Students were able to gain an appreciation for the lives of individuals during the early part of Canada's history.
