Alumni, staff and past staff gather for annual reunion

Laughter, chat and reminiscing filled the Lodge on April 25 as alumni, past students and staff past and present gathered for the annual all-alumni reunion.

The evening also honoured the Classes of ‘10, ‘15 and ‘20 at a special 5-, 10-, 15-Year Reception.

Guests enjoyed time together catching up as well as trips down memory lane through tours and a 5-, 10-, 15-Year display.

“It was amazing to see so many people come out to the reunion,” said Greenwood’s alumni officer Lilah Rosenthal ‘16 of the more than 180 people who attended. “We love hearing what Greenwood alumni are doing and seeing them reconnect with past and current staff.”

Greenwood’s alumni community is now more than 1,400 strong. Lilah aims to strengthen the network and connections through additional programming and events.

If you are interested in getting involved at Greenwood, email Lilah.

Were you at the reunion? Please share your feedback in this 20-second survey.

Photos from the reunion and 5-, 10-, 15-Year Reception will be shared in the next Alumni e-Evergreen.

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
