When Alice decides to follow the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole, she has no idea what she’s in for. In between shrinking and growing, she gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, races the Dodo Bird and has a strange tea party with the Mad Hatter before beating the Queen of Hearts at her own game.
The cast, led by Small Alice (Ella Usher-Jones), Medium Alice (Rhiannon O’Brien) and Tall Alice (Sasha Loubert), displayed wonderful energy from the opening curtain to the closing number of each of their four performances. The whimsy of Wonderland was brought to life by amazing costumes, sets and props put together by our hard-working crew, and our live pit band made sure every musical number was on point.
A huge thank you to the cast, crew and staff who made this year’s Junior Play possible! Check out photos from the performances in the album below.
We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
