“This photo was taken on Spring Island, BC on our Base Camp sea kayaking trip. We stayed with and learned from the Kyuquot/Cheklesahht First Nation, and would go exploring on the shoreline almost every night. On the last night, we went to watch the sunset and that's when the photo was taken. On the same night we saw crabs, mussels, sea anemones, and sea urchins.”
Scenery: Ms. Reiken, Apprentice Teacher
“The photo was taken in Algonquin Park during the Grade 10 Voyageur canoe trip. It was taken at the end of a day of paddling and portaging, when we got to our campsite for the evening.

This photo of a cute chipmunk was taken on the Grade 8 trip to Camp Tawingo.
We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
