Nate Daviau ‘15 to Appear Tonight on CTV’s The Launch

The Launchis a Canadian reality music competition. Each week, five emerging musical acts audition for a panel of mentors. Two acts advance to the next phase of the competition, where they have 48 hours to record their own versions of an original song. Both acts also perform the song in front of a live studio audience. Based on the recording and live performance, the mentors select a winner to have their song released commercially.

Nate was a regular performer at Greenwood Coffee Houses during his time at Greenwood. His love of songwriting and the guitar carried him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he is currently in his final year. He took his music on a cross-province tour last summer, and released his first EP, This Round’s On Me, in August.

Nate’s episode of The Launch will air on CTV at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 27. Bryan Adams will act as the celebrity mentor and producer for the episode.
