Today you have a challenge about brains and speed
Depend on your House, it is all you will need

Churchill, Fraser, Nahanni, Latimer or West
Yukon, Thompson or Wernham - let’s find out who is best!

There are big points to be won if you crack the codes on the box
Solve your puzzles in Grade teams and open those locks.

Help each other out and never give up
Because soon enough you could be hoisting the cup.

So good luck to all of you and now on with the show
On your marks, get set…. GO GO GO!

Problem solving, creativity and speed were a must in our House vs House Escape Room challenge! House teams competed to decipher a series of locks that opened a box to a clue that would lead them to the mystery prize. Through teamwork and creative problem solving, once teams found the final clue, they rushed to the finish line to claim something they have all been working hard to earn this year... House points!

Yukon House finished fast, earning a solid 50 points! They were soon followed by Fraser who brought in 40 points and Churchill who collected 30 points.

Way to go teams!

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and as settlers, we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
