January 13: The teams completed at Mansfield. The notable results for the teams:
Open* Girls’ team placed 1st overall with Natalie Gardner ‘29, Olivia Wellman ‘26, Riley Wellman ‘28 taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Adding to Greenwood’s dominance on the slopes were Sarah Shields ‘26, RK Ferrier ‘26, Quinn Ferrier ‘28 and Olive Holt ‘26 who finished in 7th, 9th, 11th and 13th place respectively.
Open Boys’ team finished 3rd overall thanks to Nathan Marsh ‘27 and Tommy Kelk ‘28 who finished in 3rd place and 5th place respectively.
For the School-trained Girls’ team, Talia Waggott ‘28 finished in 16th place while Tessa Campbell ‘26 placed in 21st place.
For the School-trained Boys’ team, Henry Hogarth-Rosmus ‘27 was the highest scoring skier in 25th place.
January 21: The teams competed at Devil’s Glen in Giant Slalom style. Here are the notable results for the teams:
The Open Girls’ team held steady at first overall with many finishes in the top 15. Natalie Gardner ‘29, Olivia Wellman ‘26, Riley Wellman ‘28, Sarah Shields ‘26, Quinn Ferrier ‘28, Olive Holt ‘26 and Kenzie Sibthorpe ‘28 finished in 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 12th, 14th and 21st place respectively.
The Open Boys’ team went up in the standings to become first overall with great finishes in the top 15. Hugo Caldwell ‘26, Tommy Kelk ‘28, Elias James ‘26 and Ali Scott ‘29 finished in 3rd, 5th, 11th and 15th place respectively.
For the School-trained Girls’ team, Talia Waggott ‘28 finished in 18th place.
For the School-trained Boys’ team, Miles Dymond ‘29 finished in 23rd place while Henry Hogarth-Rosmus ‘27 finished in 27th place.
The next skiing meet is on February 4.

The team competed in their first meet on January 13 at Mount St. Louis Moonstone. Here are the notable team results:
Greenwood’s Girls’ team placed first overall with Bianca Kurtin ‘31 placing 1st in the U14 Girls’ Giant Slalom race and Samantha Jaskolka ‘26 and Kasey Codilla ‘27 placing 2nd and 7th respectively in the U20 Girls’ Giant Slalom race. In the U20 Girls’ Slopstyle race, Samantha Jaskolka ‘26 again placed 2nd.
Greenwood’s Boys’ team also placed first overall. All U14 snowboarders placed in the top ten for Giant Slalom race: Henry Rothman ‘31, Mattias Westin ‘31, Rohan Shah ‘30 and Van Stevens ‘31 finished in 3rd, 5th, 6th and 9th places respectively. For U16 Boys’ Giant Slalom race, Maki Blackstock ‘29, Elliot Veneziano ‘29, Alexander O’Dwyer ‘29, Leo Hynes ‘29, Fawzi Al-Hajj ‘29 and Simon Pestrin ‘28 finished in the top 15, taking 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th and 12th places respectively. The U20 Boys’ Giant Slalom race also saw many top 10 finishes including Nicholas O’Dwyer ‘26, Nate Lamb ‘27 and Baz Bryce ‘26 who placed 2nd, 4th and 7th respectively. In U14 Boys’ Slopestyle, Mattias Westin ‘31, Henry Rothman ‘31, Rohan Shah ‘30 and Van Stevens ‘31 placed 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th respectively. In U16 Boys’ Slopestyle, Fawzi Al-Hajj ‘29 placed in 3rd, Maki Blackstock ‘29, Alexander O’Dwyer ‘29 and Elliot Veneziano ‘29 all placed in 5th place and Leo Hynes ‘29 finished in 8th place.
