Thank you to all who participated.

Community: Bryce Purves-Mitchell ‘29

“This photo was taken on the last day of the Grade 10 canoe trip in Algonquin park, when all the groups had come together to paddle back to camp together.”

Adventure: Keifer Scace ‘27

“My photo was taken on my three day whitewater canoe trip on the Madawaska River. We had to meet up at the pickup point at around 10 a.m. so the guides had us wake up at around 5 a.m. to begin getting ready for the day. I took this photo right around 7 a.m. when we first got onto the water; the sun was just starting to creep out, and there was tons and tons of smoke coming right off the water. So as my boat turned a corner, we saw this beautiful open lake with smoke coming right off, with the water perfectly still, allowing the full reflection of the sky to be seen on the water. Seeing this made me instantly want to pull out my camera and capture this great photo; it was a definite highlight of the Madawaska trip.”

Nature: Mr. Farbstein, Admissions Officer | Associate Director, Advancement & Alumni

“This photo was taken on the dock at Camp Arowhon during Grade 7 OE. All the students were in their cabins after programming had finished for the day. It was very quiet outside; a peaceful, clear night.”

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
