Meet your 2026-2027 Heads of Student Leadership

Welcome to the new school year! Now that the first few weeks are well underway, we wanted to share a brief note to introduce ourselves to the Greenwood community. As Heads of Student Leadership, our role ranges from leading morning greetings and assemblies to guiding executive council meetings and driving school-wide initiatives. While we've already had the chance to meet many of you in the halls, we wanted to share a bit more about who we are and what we're striving for this year.

I’m Mackenzie, and I’m really excited for the year ahead! A few of my favourite things are music, film, the outdoors, and getting involved in school life. My goals for this year are to make sure everyone feels heard and represented, and to help create a more energetic, positive, and connected school environment. I started at Greenwood in Grade 7, and it’s hard to forget those first-day jitters. I’m really looking forward to being someone the younger students can turn to as they adjust to Greenwood, and giving them the same sense of support and welcome that previous Greenwood leaders gave me. I’m looking forward to an amazing year!

Hi everyone! My name is Jacob, and alongside Mackenzie, I am thrilled to serve as your Head of Student Leadership this year! I’ve been at Greenwood since Grade 7, and when I’m not at school, you can usually find me golfing, skiing, playing hockey, or picking up my guitar. As a Head of Student Leadership, my goal is to follow through on every commitment, be an energetic and trustworthy leader, and build strong connections across our entire community. Whether you are brand new to Greenwood or have been here for years, Greenwood is a space where every student can learn, grow, feel truly included, and show their spirit! I can’t wait for the year ahead and look forward to meeting you all soon!
